The natural senna used in SENOKOT®-S is extracted from the deseeded and dried pods of the Senna Alexandrina flower.

Senna has been used as a natural laxative for thousands of years to relieve constipation. The senna in SENOKOT®-S works by enhancing the body’s natural wave-like contractions in the colon (peristalsis) to help promote a bowel movement.
